The 11th Information Design International Conference - CIDI 2023, and the 11th Information Design International Conference - CONGIC 2023, are being organized by the Brazilian Society of Information Design - SBDI and the Academic Center of Agreste at the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE/CAA. This edition will be held in an online format and will take place between November 6th and 10th, 2023, where we will also celebrate the 20 years of the congress.
These scientific and biennial events aim to discuss and reflect on Brazilian and international information design. They will address the following tracks in information design:
In the previous conferences (Recife, 2003; São Paulo, 2005; Curitiba, 2007; Rio de Janeiro, 2009; Florianópolis, 2011; Recife, 2013; Brasília, 2015; Natal, 2017; Belo Horizonte, 2019; and Curitiba, 2021) several important researchers on Information Design and related fields presented keynote talks, click on the link below to see them:

– the urban landscape;
– cultural heritage, of a graphic and typographic nature, and;
– other related topics that cross such issues.
It's also relevant that any research in this area should embrace discussions and criticisms that consider ethical, social and/or epistemological aspects in their practice.
Area of interest that addresses the role of Information Design in health. Articles directed to this area should be focused on (but not restricted to):
– communicational effectiveness of health information systems, whether analogue or digital;
– cross-sectional studies to other areas of interest applied directly in the area of health and social well-being;
